As early as in 2000, the
Joint School IT Convention (hereinafter referred
to as the JSITC) has already drawn attention from
numerous students in different secondary schools,
who are enthusiastic followers in information technology.
However, the needs of these students to get together
and help in information technology development are
often neglected despite their undeniable importance.
In order to enhance contacts between students and
the information technology without any commercial
taste, the first organizing committee of the JSITC
was established with students from eight secondary
schools.
