JSITC is celebrating the 10th Anniversary

Another academic year is coming , and this is a special year for JSITC as we are stepping towards the 10th Anniversity. And we are more than happy to invite you to the Annual General Meeting of the JSITC. It will include a brief introduction of the JSITC, annual report of JSITC for the year 08-09 , and most importantly, the election of the 10th JSITC Executive Committee members!
The details of the meeting are as follows:

Date: 25th October , 2009 (Sunday)
Time: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
Venue: The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

All secondary students are welcomed to attend the meeting.
For those of you who wish to become candidates of the election,
please send the completed application form to PO Box 72085, Kowloon Central Post Office, Kowloon, Hong Kong or via email to info@jsitc.org. You may also hand in the form in person to any of the Executive Committee memebers.

Important Announcement on the "Summer IT Camp 2009"

In view of the menace posed by the current outbreak of new influenza A (H1N1) , and unfortunately, a decent number of our executive committee members belong to the schools with swine flu cases reported, an emergency decision has been taken to cancel the "Summer IT Camp 2009" after discussion among all the Ex-cos to prevent further outbreak of the virus.

Information about the coming year's AGM(Annual General Meeting) will be announced soon - keep checking back here for all AGM-related news.

Update on the "HKCEE CIT Seminar 2009"

Are you ready for the approaching HKCEE CIT examination? JSITC is going to organise a CIT seminar in the coming March for all F.4 and F.5 students! The content of the seminar will be based on the core modules, assessment syllabus and various examination skills.

Candycane - Our first event

Candycane was successfully held on the 27th December , 2008. We would like to express our greatest gratitude to all the participants , helpers and other sub-committee members for supporting Candycane and JSITC thoroughly during promotion and organising the activity.

The details of the gathering are as follows:

Date: 27th December, 2008 (Saturday)
Eligibility: Form 3 or above
Time: 10:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Venue: The Hong Kong Polytechnic University , HANG SENG School of Commerce (Dinner)

Entrance Fee: Each individual participant: $70 , 2 or more participants joining together: $60 (with refreshment and insurance included)

The 9th JSITC is now recruiting Sub-Committee members.

We are looking for passionate students who are Form 3 or above, and are willing to make an effort
for the promotion of IT among Hong Kong secondary schools. We welcome you to join the JSITC family!
